Mrs. Roe's third grade class is starting to use Study Island. For their first experience, they came up to sixth grade for some help. The sixth graders did an awesome job helping them learn how to log on to the program, navigate through it, and answer questions.
I was especially proud of how the sixth grade "teachers" showed their younger students how to find the correct response when they struggled. The sixth graders did an awesome job helping make the first experience on Study Island a positive learning experience.
Great Helpers!

I think this will give the teachers and the students an idea of how they'll do in reading and math.
It was fun helping the 3rd graders with study island

It was a really fun day helping the 3rd graders. My student only missed like 2 questions. I hope we can help them on Study Island again soon.
I thought it was cool to have the 3rd graders come up and get on study island for their first time.
I think that it was fun, and I thought that Study Island would be good for them. I hope that they have fun with Study Island. We should do it again.
Scotty,
Have you ever heard the saying, "be careful what you wish for?" Your wish is coming true. Next week, Mrs. Kable's and Mrs. Martindale's classes are coming up to learn about Study Island.
My partner listened very well.
I did not have a partner
I think helping the 3rd graders was fun.
