I believe that Colin Kaepernick shouldn't have sat down during the national anthem.I think that because it is disrespectful and rude to the country he did it in."There is a man who can't stand during the national anthem because he fought for that country and lost both of is legs during that fight". That's a reason he can't stand and there is a reason why Colin Kaepernick didn't stand. Colin Kaepernick can stand if he wants to he he don't have to but he should stand because it is rude in many sort of ways.
I think it was disrespectful for Colin Kaepernick to sit down during the national anthem because if all the soldiers in the War Of Independents never went to war then Colin Kaepernick would not be playing football.
I think what Colin Kaepernick did was okay, it's his right to decide whether he stands to the national Antietam or not. It's not like its illegal and they're gonna put him in jail. If he doesn't want to honor his country for something someones done, I think it's fine.
I feel that what Colin Kaepernick did wasn't right because you should stand for the Star Spangled Banner to respect the military because of all they have done for the US.
I think that what Colin Kaepernick did was right because he has a right to not stand during the anthem. It is not illegal and no one can tell him to sit or stand. Also he has Freedom Of Speech and he is allowed to say what he want's and do what he want's. No one should ever kick some one off a team because he chose to sit he could have stood but he didn't. So this is why I think that it is right for Colin Kaepernick to sit during the anthem.
I believe that it wasn't right but also the national anthem is to say you have freedom and one of the rights are freedom of speech.I would stand up to the national anthem but it was his choice.If I were to stand I would because I appreciate my country but he was adopted so he may be from another country but he may just not agree with our country.I believe that he can stand or sit because its his rights.I agree that it was wrong but also I believe that the anthem states that you have the rights to think and do also you have freedom of rights.

I think Colin Kaepernick has a freedom of speech and what he does and the police aren't doing nothing about it so I think it is all right to do whatever you want. Here's why it is not illegal to do what he did and he is showing why he is protesting so he can do whatever he want's.
I believe that it was wrong of Colin Kapernick to do what he did.I think he should have stood while the song was playing. Because he was capable and he had nothing to be mad. He also should have stood because he wasn't injured or hurt in any way that he couldn't stand for the song.
I also believe that what he did was wrong because people fight for him. He wouldn't be playing football if it wasn't for some of the soldiers that fought for all of us. Just because it's legal doesn't mean it's ok and respectful to those who fought for us.
Why did Colin Kaerpernick sit during the National Anthem? I don't think it was right that he sat during the National Anthem. Because it is disrespectful to his country and the people who fought so he would have the freedom to play the sport that he is playing. If the people did not fight he wouldn't be able to football.
It's also his fault that he didn't get to play because he wasn't playing as good as the person who took his spot. After all his year playing football you would think that he would know that if some one is playing better than him he won't play. Sports have always been that way and he needs to learn that.
Why did he sit though? I think he sat because he just wanted to have some attention and be on the news. I'm sure that in some way he makes money when he's on the news and I think thats why he did it.
I think Colin Kapernick should have stood during the National Anthem. If it weren't for the people who fought for the flag he might not even be aloud to sit at all. Football may have been made if it weren't for the people who fought for the National Anthem to be sang or played during a football game. If it was me who fought for the flag I would be mad because I would have risk my life so he can disrespect it. If I were the coach I would trow him of the team. I think even if he doesn't care for America other people do and that most likely made them mad. This is not what the world should be at wright now. People should not disrespect the American flag. If he can't respect the American flag he should move to a differnt country.

I believe that Colin Kaepernick shouldn't have sat down. I think he shounden't have sat down because that is disrespecting your country, and your flag. I think that he had the right to sit down because in the U.S. we have the freedome of speech, but it was just disrespecting. He's protesting that black people are getting treated badly but its not our fault its the black people who our doing this to themself. I think he should stand up for the rest of his games, but I don't think he will till the blak people are treated correctlyin his way.
I think Colin should have been respectful and stood up, but he does have the freedom of speech. To me he was just trying to get attention. He should be suspended for a year.
I believe that Colin Kaepernick sat down during the national anthem. I understand he was doing it protest against police brutality, but it was very disrespectful to our veterans and are country. He could of said this after the game instead of sitting down.

I think that it was wrong to sit down during your countries national anthem. I think it is wrong because, people are fighting for you so you still have the right for freedom of speech. I mean he can do it because, you have the freedom to do anything you want to do. But I still think it was wrong to sit down. But the thing that I don't get about this is why would he choose to do this the one thing that he chose to do was to sit down.
I think what Colin Kapernick did is disrespectful, but not illegal or wrong. He has freedom of speech allowing him to say whatever he wants. Many men and women have died for our freedom.. If he wanted to protest he could have done it much more respectful way. Many people CANT stand but he chose not to. If he is ashamed by living in america then he should just move, But atleast he did not stomp or burn the flag. What he did is not illegal but disrespectful. :(

I believe what he did is OK. He has that right protected by Freedom Of Speech. It may be disrespectful but would you rather him sit or have more police brutality? I am actually glad he did that to stop police brutality. If he wouldn't have done that would there still be racial deaths? At least he is actually trying to do something about it. More people should do it until police brutality ends.He could have stomped on the flag but he didn't which would you rather?
I think Colin Kapernick should of stand up because it shows respect for our county. when he sat down that was wrong of him because there is people out there that fight for our freedom of speech and freedom of rights i think that what he did was not OK. I think colon was right that he sat during the pledge because if the Army fought for us to have rights then we should have the right to sit during the pledge. Also people fought and lost there legs or walking and they get to sit during the pledge. They should just be able to sit during the pledge because the are singing it that's all that matters.

This post is about Colin Kapernick sitting down at the Nation Anthem . The reason I think that it was wrong was that it is disrespect to our country and to the soldiers that fought for him and his freedom.I also think that it is okay because he has his freedom but it he mat be from another country so he dose not like our country then he should go back to his home then if he wants to disrespect our country like that. Another thing that i think that he wants everybody to look at him and to create drama.Then what price has he paid i think he should have a punishment like suspended for so many games.

I think what Colin Kapernick did during the national anthem was probably an new change in America in a while do battle against racism because It isn't fare to judge some one because of there cultural differences,or what they look like, is who they are not what they are or what they look like.so Kapernick is making a stand for the first time in a while.America really needs its change heart do to what the worlds become today, we all are different a a certain way.Now days the world is cruel and brutal and needs to change there ways or years from now we will be nothing but pure evil in the world.
